In 1908, Morris Black started a modest business by using a horse and wagon to transport bags of cement from railroad cars to jobsites where they were needed. His reputation – and our legacy – grew from this simple act of customer service. Today, the third and fourth generations of his family continue to serve the construction industry and building owners with quality products and services.

Healthcare
Morris Black & Sons, Inc. has been the major casework/millwork supplier and subcontractor for Eastern Pennsylvania’s largest hospitals and medical/dental offices for more than 25 years. Our work has included patient rooms, exam rooms, laboratories, specialty medical storage, waiting rooms, intake and interview desks, nurses stations, wall panels, reception desks, office areas, security booths . . . and more.
Retail, Restaurants, and Hotels
We have provided custom casework and architectural millwork for a wide variety of public and private facilities, such as sports/entertainment venues, retail franchise stores, auto dealerships, hotels, and restaurants. Recent examples of exceptional commercial bars, fabricated and installed by Morris Black, include the Coca Cola Park clubhouse bar and lockers, and the Wind Creek Event Center.

Morris Black has considerable experience and logistical expertise in the multi-housing market, with projects as diverse as garden apartments and high-rise buildings. We furnish framed and frameless cabinetry in all price categories, ranging from affordable housing to ultra-luxury condos and apartments. Our frameless, high-gloss white cabinets have been specified and installed in numerous Philadelphia luxury high-rises.
