Insulation Products and Systems

  1. Fiberglass Batts and Blown Insulation:
Standard installation for residential and light commercial new construction. We feature “formaldehyde-free” fiberglass.
  2. Blown-in-Blankets (BIBS) with SpiderFiber:
The BIBS system is a new process for installing Johns-Manville SpiderFiber loose-fill insulation. SpiderFiber is blown behind special netting for complete coverage and higher R-value efficiency, custom fit to any size or shape cavity. The BIBS system will provide superior acoustical and thermal properties, without settling. R-values up to R-15 in 2×4 walls and R-23 in 2×6 walls.
  3. Flash and Batt Insulation:
The newest innovation in insulation technology, this system combines 1” closed cell polyurethane foam (R 6.2) with standard batt insulation in wall cavities. This approach yields greatly enhanced thermal performance and virtually stops air infiltration. Flash and Batt is particularly effective in difficult-to-insulate areas.
  4. Closed Cell Polyurethane Foam Spray:
This is a premium, high performance product that is used for various applications, such as wall cavities, basement walls, and crawl spaces. Spray foam offers a significant upgrade in thermal resistance, producing greater energy efficiency.
  5. SuperSeal Package:
Used routinely in new homes, this service seals cracks, crevices, and holes in the interior and exterior of the home. The package includes caulk and/or foam at all sill plates, jack studs, and attic ceilings to promote a more energy efficient structure.
  6. Firecaulking Service:
Fire caulking is specified in all model building codes to ensure life safety by establishing an effective fire barrier to the free passage of flame, smoke, and toxic gasses within and between the floor and the walls in new home construction.
  7. Attic Insulation Removal:
Specialized, heavy-duty vacuum equipment enables removal of blown-in loose cellulose, loose rockwool, or blown-in loose fiberglass wool. Our process both removes and disposes of the material in a clean, safe, and environmentally-friendly manner. This is especially cost-effective in fire, smoke, or water damage remediation work.
